And although most people would most probably order their famous Chicken BBQ with Java Rice, we go a different route on this particular trip and instead, indulge in other home growth favorites, all with that special The Aristocrat touch, of course.

Crispy Pata (Php695.00)
Any carnivore's dream come true. Crispy Pata is pig leg simmered with spices till tender then deep fried for that delicious crunch. The Husband has this on his wishlist whenever he comes home for a vacay all the time.
If the Husband has Crispy Pata on his mind, I have Kare-Kare. Beef knuckles, tripe and oxtail served in a delicous curry, peanut sauce.
If you ask me, this dish is best served alongside Crispy Pata. Don't know why exactly but our family reunions almost always has both the pig and this beefy curry dish together. Partnered with a sweet, tasty bagoong (shrimp paste), I can now die a happy girl.
Grilled Squid (Php 295.00)
Slightly sweet and not stringy when chewed, these are 2 things I look for in Grilled Squid. And The Aristocrat, in my opinion, makes one of the best in the Metro; with plenty of atchara (pickled papaya) on the side, too!
Pancit Canton (Php350.00)
And because it was the Little One's special day, we just had to have Pancit Canton. She takes after her Dada that way.
Stir-fry egg noodles with tons of meat and veggies. Yum!
Iced Tea (Php70.00)
Wash everything down with a glass (or 2) of their special house blend Iced Tea. One glass really isn't enough.
Why the heck don't make servings for these bigger, anyway?!
